Fidget, the Roscoea  p. is whichever one Carrie Thomas persuaded me to buy .... it's more than a few inches tall but with no sign of flowers yet.  I'll post a pic when it does bloom.

Well it looks like I've finished for the day, that's reduced next months plant fund! Not happy at all. But there are lots if positives to finishing early on a nice day aren't there?

Anything happened today that I need to look back on or reply to? (getting terrible at keeping up n scared cos verduns gonna test me!).

Mrs G, Verdun's a pussycat, all you have to do is say 'cake' and all thoughts of quizzing go out of the window. It's Fairygirl you have to watch out for with that wand of hers!  rivet, rivet, rivet ...see what I mean!

Hello again folks - Thai green curry simmering away and Baked lemon cheesecake cooling.  Alcofrolic supplies have been topped up - friend can arrive any time he likes - it'll probably be about 7 tonight - he's not the most organised of people image

There's a stockpot of chicken bones and bits simmering away on the hob as well - that'll make some good soup later in the week - the farm shop has some lovely local leeks image

I cleared up the kitchen while I was listening to GQT - is it my imagination or are there fewer questions than there used to be? image

It's still a gorgeous sunny day here - really quite hot in the sun.  I've watered the courgettes and shall go and check the tomato plants etc a minute.

Seems to be clouding over here. Not that I can do much til 17:00 I just hope it doesn't rain until late tonight as I want to get the lawn cut! (Normally my partners job but he's away this weekend)

Ah. Just been told I might need to submit documents to a client I've never heard of before and who doesn't appear on the "idiots guide too" that the woman who normally does it has left me. Not sure why they can't wait until Monday! image
