I left the car just after half eight Lesley. Three hours walking, so it was ideal . The weather now is what it was like up the last summit of Beinn a' Ghlo when I was there - on August 1st! Summers in Scotland
I think Verd wears a bikini most of the time...we have to wear them under oor simmits
The sausage rolls Scotch pies
Nigthy night Pat. I watched a Dylan 'covers' show I'd recorded, last night - K T Tunstall and Adele on it, among many others. Excellent.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
I am thinking of digging my Lobelia Queen vics up and bringing in for the winter. Didn't last year, but did the year before, which was their first, they made loads of little babies so I had several plants by the Spring.
Gardening on the wild, windy west side of Dartmoor.
A day on the hills is a different kind of walk though Verdi. Three hours is a short half day really. Always something to see, and a new challenge, or just pushing yourself a bit harder if it's a familiar walk - as that one is.
If this weather keeps up, I won't get much more done outdoors this year. I've got things to move but it's dark when I get in from work, so it's only possible to get things done at weekends now.

Glad you squeezed a walk in between the weather Fairy - can't have you going stir crazy this early in the season.
Guess who has planted all her bulbs. Some were last year's tulips which i have put out in rows in the veg garden - if any manage a flower they will be cut for the house. Never tried that before - well, saying that, I attempted it last year, but the mice ate my carefully stored bulbs before I got them in the ground. This year my storage was more cunning - and successful.
Also moved all my agapanthus pots into the GH - not coz its cold, but to keep them dry for the winter. I seem to have acquired 3 wheelebarrow loads of them - no sure how that happened
Cuppa now, before picking up littlest Chicklet from the GC. Kitchen smells of Christmas

Afternoon all
Am at Ma and Pa's desperately trying not to snooze . . . .
Thought I'd share a pic of their vegetable patch. . . . .
I'm not sure there are enough nasturtiums
Hi Panda.......love the nasturtium patch...oops I mean veggie patch!
Mind you they are very tasty.
Enjoy your snooze.
RB - very satisfying. They allow me to eat KitKats and scones without feeling guilty
Hope you have a good time tomorrow
Panda...I said PANDA...WAKE UP!!.....
I think Verd's mankini will be tasteful. Salvia blue perhaps...
