I don't think its ever intentional BusyL I'm afraid its a family trait carried down the female line might I add think its why I don't sit down til gone 10!
Morning/afties all. Hope you're a little better Pat.
I can sympathise with you too DD - I had an infection a week before I was due to go to the dentist last year - swollen face and constant pain. Nothing would take it away. Not funny at all.
No birds here yet chicky - too dark still! Glad the foot's a bit better. Not a great forecast for being up hills this weekend - all fog and clag - so I'm off to Arrochar to do the loop between Glen Loin and the other side of the Arrochar hills. Not my favourite kind of walk but don't want to get lazy.
Threading Hosta.... They sometimes do it here in odd places - like in shopping centres where everyone can walk by and gawp. Not for me!
Best get going. Catch you all later. Have a good day whatever you're up to
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
So hoping that you may be feeling a little bit better today Pat. It is bad enough to feel ill at any time but I should think in the high temps. it must be horrendous x
Hoping that you too DD are soon feeling the benefits of the antibiotics x
Theading Hosta..........pics!
Very misty down here......can't even see the woods across the lane!
Had a great day in the garden yesterday, lovely sunshine for a change and quite warm too.
Food shop then off to continue the great garage sort out at my Dads.

Morning all.
Hugs for DD and Pat, and others too if they feel in need. I've plenty to go round.
OH gone to " bagsy" the best , sheltered , sunbeds. Windy again here but ok if you can get some shelter.
In bed at 10 last night. Asleep at 03.45 and awake at 07.15.
Can someone please remind me what it's like not to be tired?
Can't get garden plans out of my head as I lie awake, which probably doesn't help things. So much to do once " the knee" is sorted .
Keep spreading " the Waitrose Word" Dove.
Had a haircut yesterday and was introduced to " threading" most odd.
Good morning Hosta
((hugs)) and the rest of you when you arrive
Threading ... so you've had your eyebrows done? Tres glam!
Or did they just do the threading 'around the edges'?
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Morning all
Earlier than a normal weekend for me - littlest Chicklet got the coffeeshop job and starts today - just about to drop her off.
Then having my eyes tested, and then might head out for a walk, as the ankle is almost completely healed now.
Birds are tweeting away wildly out there ....I'm normally either too early or too late for the dawn chorus at this time of year.....its nice to hear

Hope DD wakes up with a less swollen face.
Do they still have people sitting with their feet in fish tanks where everyone can gawp? I remember seeing them when on holiday in Cornwall or Devon.
Friends coming to lunch tomorrow after Church. Must do some HW and food preparation.
Morning, looks hopeful out there this morning as I am still banned from gardening I shall hope to get the dogs round the lake
Pat I, like so many, hope you are a bit better today
Hosta, how brave, I ran a mile at the sight of the "thread", how is your knee?
Chicky will chicklet get to bring home cake?
Wonky is life any quieter up above?
