BL was it you that mentioned your poorly dog? When you get your new bed for him can you secure a picnic blanket to it? Once with a water proof liner on the side facing the bed to help prolong its life? (My waterproof blanket goes in the washing machine all the time after its been hosed down in the garden).
Day three of trying to recover from being ill and it looks like I'll be spending it waiting for the water board because I can hear running water!
Hey Jo, that site is fantastic. I've written them all down now. Growing from seed is my absolutely favourite thing. I love growing them on to maturity. I seed-save nearly all my vegetables. I think I like the challenge. Verdun, just as well we're all different .
Interestingly, I've already decided that some of them are nigella, viola, and cosmos. It's going to fun watching the others. I'm going to try for a photo, but will finish this first because I just know I'll lose the lot.
Morning all, lovely start to the day here. Looking out over the fields the sky line is quite beautiful.
Gosh Jo that was very clever of you to find Pat's seeds, I bet she will be chuffed to bits.
We were quite surprised at last night's temperature, the fields look as if they have a light frost on them ,and there wasn't a even a hint of one in the forecast last night. The horses look very sorry for themselves, so I agree Dove that winter is on its way...boo hoo!
Glad you had enjoyed a ' lighter' walk Verdun, sadly not for long though. Were your feet nice and warm!!!
Pat, I bet you feel all lightheaded now. Glad to hear that your on the winning track with all your seedlngs.....I'm still bracing myself to attack my pot of disaster.
Morning to all that may have arrived since I began writing my post, hope all are well and enjoy your day.
I shall be off in a minute taking the car back to the garage so they can fit a new seat sensor - despite Pdoc's diagnosis that the problem has occured because I'm not heavy enough to trigger it
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

They still look pretty messy, but when they all stand up, I'll have another fiddle with them.
