Morning all. We've been into town for our weekly grocery shopping trip and now flopping (as usual).  Hope all are well and that the flooding has eased.  Apart from a small weeding effort, not done much.  There is one small pumpkin about the size of a plum on one of the pumpkin vines, but I'm not confident that we'll get any worthwhile results before the cold starts about April/May. Our summer season is too short here.  Looks like it'll be the supermarket again.image

My January GW mag arrived on the iPad last night but there is something strange about it. The cover is a diagram of a camera instead of the usual plants, etc.  I'll probably need to write to the suppliers again, but for as long as I can read the contents, it doesn't really matter, I guess. image

  • Morning Pat,  the weekly shop ,not a chore I like!  Infact I'm not keen on shopping at all. I always thing it strange when I hear people say ' as not much on today so I think I will go into town and wander around the shops'!

Not sure what the weather is doing as it is sooooo dark outside still.

A bit sad today as the last of our brood is going back after spending the holidays with us. It takes me a while to adjust to the quietness and it only being the two of us again. Mind you I could do with the sleep! When they are here I love to spend all my time with them, so the earliest I have been to bed in the last 15 days is 1am, and I'm always awake by 6.30am

    Oh well, back to normality.

Hi to everyone else, hope you all have a great dayx

    Morning all!

Spent yesterday cleaning the museum: everything is lovely and clean ready for visitors to put their sticky fingers all over the do not touch signs today.

But gosh do I ache now.

Back in the museum today to start planning our 2016 events and to make sure everything is organised for schools visiting this month. I wonder if they'll light the fire in the coffee shop so I can work from there! (Lost my office space and haven't been given a suitable replacement so just find myself a quiet corner).

  • Oops sorry Bushman, morning!

You weren't there just now image

Morning to everyone yet to arrive.

Hello folks. I'm on my phone cos laptop is still upgrading to Windows 10. Started last night and thought it'd be over by now but it needed me to hit a button halfway through so waited until thisorning. Duh! It's 71% complete ATM.

We get the shopping done and then back home as quickly as we can, Flowers.i can't imagine wandering around just browsing. I agree about family visitors. We always feel that we have to get up earlier than we like and the meals always need more consideration, than usual. But it nice to be able to chat as long as we like, which we wouldn't usually do over the phone.

Hello Bushman what have you been doing - rescuing flooded people?   Hello star g l. What about you, have you ventured out ( even if it's not light enough)?

ive been advised that tea is on the table so I'd better go!
