Mrs. G, the flooding hasn't been as bad in France and the wind in the last couple of days wasn't quite as strong as in the UK, but it's still been bad. I've never known such a wet winter. Brittany, the Var in South East France, the West Coast and base of Pyrenees have all had orange and red weather alerts and huge tidal waves and floods. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-25802278

Winds at it again here. Wooden GH now belts & braces, and metal one repaired. So again I think it's curtains / blinds shut soon and look in the morning.

Hope all stay safe, not a good forecast for any, and currently they aren't sure who is getting the next storm attackimage

Just bought a replacement cover for my placcy greenhouse. The question is, how did the other items (4 new hanging baskets and hanging basket brackets) get in my basket? image Tee hee hee image The hanging basket brackets are fab, they hang off my concrete posts and do not require a drill.

Panda - I went to Aldi earlier to get a few essentials.

Came home with a heated propergator.... oops!!

  • Evening all

Been to a Hillier's Romsey garden talk today - Get the best from your garden with Pip Bensley.

Was really interesting I came away with seeds compost for later on, I am still holding off on seed sowing too much other bits to do in the garden. I got a new product slug gone woollen pellets which will be interesting to try.

So many nice plants there I am waiting for the Hillier's little mag to be out end of next week for other offers on 9cm perennial plants . Will be popping back sometime to get some pants then. Was too hungry today so went home for lunch

Got home and my QVC order was waiting for me so I tested out the brush on the moss on the back garden path and as the station bins had to be sorted out took the brush up there and tested it in between the brick paving really worth getting like it

Gg, is this a long handled brush? Could do with something for my paths/patio that doesn't break my back or my knees.
