Hosta, sorry to hear that, but obviously ignorant and childish don't let them spoil your hols. As you say best to ignore them, they'll soon get fed up.
Must get out in the fresh air today, feeling a bit muzzy. Hopefully it will stay dry for awhile.
Russians , strange when we went St Peterburgh really friendly , however , when in Cyprus a few years ago a large group of Russians in Hotel who where OTT but no worse than some Brits abroad !
Just had breakfast of to Lincoln , shopping & Cinema
Managed to get Kizzy to sit still before she started eating the snowdrops.
Loved the photo of Gran with the bullock.
I'm glad Hosta was able to laugh off the comments from the Russians.
Going back to Warhorse. I saw a documentary 'The real Warhorse' which was heartbreaking. Horses and mules drowning in mud. The officers had a handbook on how to shoot the dying horses. When the Lifeguards are on parade the farriers carry axes as a reminder that they had the task of putting horses down.
On a lighter note there was another true documentary called 'Galloping Jack' He was one of the few men who was allowed to bring his horse home and they grew old together on the Isle of Wight. Most of the horses left in France were sold to the French farmers.
It has finally stopped raining, although could be the middle of the night.
Spent the morning looking through new Chilterns seed catalogue, no doubt will order far more than I have space to germinate, or to subsequently grow on. I never seem to learn.
I want Kizzy, I might have to kidnap her.
Start an international incident with the Russians Hosta, it is time they were taught a lesson.
How can you lie there and think of England When you don't even know who's in the team

Claire Baldwin was a presenter at the Winter Olympics in spite of Russia's homophobic laws. Good for her.
