    morning all.

Hubby up early to do ironing so I got to lay in bed. Phoned his mobile from the bedroom to let him know I was awake and  tea would be lovely. Bless'im.

He's helping me with a little garden project this morning then he can have the rest of the weekend off.

Alsheimers is so cruel. I remember when OH's mother died , his dad said " she's been dead for the last 6 years" so sad.

  • Hello all,

Wet day here. image Not helped my grumpy mood either, usually getting out in the garden sorts me out.

OH is (already) driving me mad. He has been told to 'lose a bit  (says he) of weight' and since he got home all he has done is eat. I baked some iced biscuits for some friends of Charlie's yesterday and by the time I got back he had eaten them all, he finished off the cheese straws from last Friday, they were well and truly stale and he hasn't moved out of his office chair other than to find more food. image Tried to talk to him and he is really in a complete state of denial, told me I'm fussing and there is nothing wrong with him. image Not the reaction I expected.

Going to take my bad mood out on the i*****g now.image

Hoe you are all having better days. image

DD, I know how you feel. Himself knows he has to lose weight, and I've given him a lot of leeway recently, but the new kitchen will need locks on food cupboard doors. There are now no biscuits or cake in the house. If you're hungry , eat an apple. We have a fridge full of them.

I do that too sometimes, DD.  I just like the sound of my own voice image

(Having my name next to the top five posts, not the i*****g, that is).

I blame the time differences when I see my name against lots of them.image And then I wait impatiently for your morning so that someone else's name takes over. Guilty pleasures.

    Afternoon all.

    Still very windy here.

Have lifted and chopped back 30 Dahlias and they are now drying out in the inner hall. I don't think OH will be impressed.

Bath and then a lie down I think.

How can you lie there and think of England

You could lie down in the bath?
