Oh Hosta that sounds awful! I hope your passenger gets a suitably sized boot to the chops to knock some sense into them.
I'm still in bed: a terrible cold descended on me yesterday and I feel shocking. Even my tail hurts! His lordship is running around the house tidying up what I couldn't yesterday as he has friends arriving soon.
Who was it that said they wanted to be back at work? I have to confess I feel similar! I should be off for most of January but I can see myself working next week. His lordship didn't book any time off so we could go anywhere (don't have any friends who live nearby) and at least at work there's someone to make me a cup of tea.
Right, I must try to get out of bed. My bladder wont let me rest any longer!
Hosta, so sorry to hear of passenger/airline troubles. Hope everything gets sorted very soon and you can start enjoying your holiday. Hopefully you will soon be sitting on the beach sipping cocktails. Best wishes and hugs.
Quite chilly here this morning, windy and pouring down.
May be a day for hybinating on the sofa.
Dare I mention watching the last 2 episodes of And then there were none, last night, don't think I would have recognised Mr T if I hadn't already known he was in it. Good series tho.
Have a good day everyone.......hope yours improves Hosta x
Feeling a bit stiff this morning after the big clean up yesterday, but mentally feel much better for 'doing' rather than sitting. OH did help by going up the ladder and doing the really high bits. After it was all done we played a family game of Monopoly, Santa brought it for Charlie, I was astonished how fast he picked it up, especially the collecting of rent bit and then after Charlie went to bed watched Part 2 of AC, hopefully manage the last one tonight.
Sorry to see some people upset on here last evening, I hope it can all be smoothed over.
Hosta, your are going to need this holiday by the time you get there, I do hope all goes well today for you and a hot sunny beach is in sight soon.
We are taking Charlie ice-skating this afternoon and I think we might have to play some more Monopoly before that, so nothing too strenuous planned, only watching the ice skating, not participating.
Have a good day all.

Sorry to hear about your cold Clari, I am hoping what I have had is 'just a cold' but like you it has racked every part of my body. My imagination has been running riot with what I have got and not got, OH has assured me it is 'just a cold' so you have all my sympathy. And also, like you I just want to get back to normal, I think it was Pauline that said too many Sundays, so true, I do like a routine, even if it is a hectic one.
SGL I'm enjoying the AC too, although had to concentrate to keep up with who was who. I did wonder when they were all searching the house why they all stayed in their dressing gowns, I am sure it would have been much easier in clothes and I won't mention Mr T and the extended scene with the towel.

Morning all - awake for several hours in the night so then fell asleep around half six
Hosta I misread your first post - thought you were diverting to 'bump off' a passenger...although maybe.... Aren't these people a total waste of space? Hope you get sorted and then you can both relax.
Panda and Clari - hope you're both a bit better today. Always horrid starting a new year unwell. I'm bored too - weather hasn't been favourable enough to do more walking, and I can only do so much h****work.
I could sort out photos and get some printed. That would be a good use of time, although I may need to go to B&Q and get a bit of timber to fix the old fence properly - assuming the rain stays away long enough.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

DD, yes good series, think it could have perhaps been slightly longer but otherwise enjoyable.
Hope you have a lovely day with Charlie and OH
Fg, I think they should've told him that 'the smoking area is outside' and then given him a parachute

Morning all.
Got up late this morning. Mentioned that I had a sore throat on the 31st, I've now joined the cold brigade and feel achey.
What an adventure Hosta, although not a fun one. Will be something to talk about in the future. Hope the holiday goes well from now on.
