The Daily mail has started an e petition requesting that some of the foreign aid budget is diverted to aid people in this country who are suffering in these floods. If you would like to sign it electronically try here.

We have had drizzle, stair rods, sleet and snow this morning, I'm glad I dug up the plants for the odd sockers yesterday.

Its time to send in the army, the navy, and the TA reservists. I heard yesterday that they were opening the kings sedgemoor drain. Why the Bl***** hell wasn't it open earlier.?.....   and then the idiot Chris Smith (now Lord since labour aren't in power any more), says its all the fault of those who live on flood plains. If half of europe wasn't coming here, putting pressure on housing stock, it wouldn't have been necessary to build on green belt, flood plains and the like.
