Haha Lesley,I did think that when I tTyped it! pdoc I didn't realise you were so close, i grew up in totley/dore and mum and dad still live there, the TC is under fairly new ownership and they still have a fair bit to do but prices good and really friendly helpful chaps
SweetPea, totally understand how you feel. A wise friend told me not to cut myself off from things that make me smile, like this place. I took her advise and it helped me We are here if you need us, and we'll be here when you're back
Firstly, BIG hugs to Lily and Sweetpea, SP bviously you know how you feel better than us but agree with the comments about not stopping things you love. I think from what I've read that most of us have been where you are at some point.....some are still there......so you aren't alone and we can all support each other. However, if you decide you need quiet you time, then you know where we are when you need us and come back.
My moan for the day is that I think I'm getting GC withdrawal symptoms, the window shopping trip last week just didn't work and something is missing!! Won't be happening tomorrow though as I have a long day and may not be on. Near London and back tomorrow......please everyone keep your fingers crossed that the M6 and M1 are good to me
Been slug knifing again, more snails than slugs tonight.
Just remembered I bought an Alan Titchmarsh book today at childrens hospital sale. 50p. Think its called how to be a gardener. Not opened it yet!
Gathered together some plants for childminders garden. Although she wants mainly pots and annuals I think. Not a lot of that going on in my garden so may have to convert her! Can't come true on my promise to do ate plants if she doesn't want what I've got...
ahhh solar lights just come on. I'm sat outside as sport on tv again! Wine in hand so all is well.
Evening all. Been very busy weeding the last 2 days. Having a charity garden party on Saturday, want garden to look nice, but at the moment all I see are weeds. I expect when it's all over I'll see the plants again. Nearly 60 booked to come, the most I've had. They will get a tea of sandwiches, scones, strawberry jam, cake and strawberries and cream. I have helpers. There is an entrance fee, a raffle and a plant sale.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
