fabulous day at the zoo (i kid you not) - but now exhausted. Lovely to see teenage girls SO enthusiastic about stuff (they seem to no longer care if its cool to get excited) - and so many tiny babies to see. Baby meerkats are soooo cute. Thats enough now, back to the gardening tomorrow

Thanks everyone for your best wishes. Mum will be having a procedure on Tuesday (thanks to the bank holiday) so hope she can come home soon after. I once asked why I had no brother or sister and she said that she'd hoped for twins because she wasn't going to do it twice
Quad bikes affect the hearing OL. Dove injured herself cleaning windows before daughters wedding - hence OH is worried it will happen again (I think that's right).
