Dove at least if you get some rain, the wallflowers will have nice damp soil around their roots, Unlike those transplanted on GW last week which seemed to have nothing but dust clinging to them
No rain forecast here before Wednesday.
Breaky with our guest then he's heading back to Surrey.
I'll be heading back to bed. I'm clearly getting too old for all this weekend house guest entertaining and gadding about.
Haven't posted for a while but try to keep up with you all.
Hope everything soon gets better for DD. She's had a tough time lately but has a really positive attitude.
I've already been down the bottom of the fields to release a baby rat caught in the humane trap. They have been coming to the bird feeders. It's probably just as cruel to release them but it gives them a fighting chance and I can't bring myself to kill them. The advice is to release them two miles away but I let him go about half a mile away so he''ll be back tomorrow.
DD is what we'd call 'stoic' here. I don't know where she gets her mental strength let alone physical strength. She's an inspiration.
Hosta - you're not that old, surely
and stop calling me Shirley, I hear you say....
Chilly here - just been out to feed birds and take a few snaps. Lots of greenery here to keep me happy over the coming cold, miserable weather we're bound to get!
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Rb. I think it had ambitions to grow up to be an octopus but you've put the kybosh on that.
Lily - enjoy cuddles with poppet
Fairy if I stand still you'll catch up with me in a couple of years. On the other hand we could all go back to being 27. Bad idea - too many nappies about then
Just sorting the meal out for tonight and have been in tears. Damn onions. Really must get out there soon.

Morning all.
Overcast here with hardly any wind.
