Thank you so much for all the hugs and good wishes. OH is ok, he has had a procedure done this morning. I can't see him until 3pm but he sounded ok this morning. He was a bit put out because they wouldn't let him have any breakfast or anything to drink, but they came to whizz him away as he was moaning about it so I don't suppose he was aware of his rumbling tummy for long. The most important thing is he is being well cared for and they are doing what's best for him.
I had to go back to hospital to get my burn dressed again this morning, and again on Monday, it is looking better but still not a pretty sight.
Charlie is going to a birthday party this afternoon, a friend is taking him for me so I can go to Limoges, he is fine, not too upset and I have had so many offers of help I haven't got to worry about him. The nurse in A&E who admitted OH even made a point of coming over this morning to ask how we all were and a medical secretary who knows me vaguely sent best wishes after seeing his name on the records. People are so kind.
Pleased to see Pdoc had a relaxing night out, also things moving for Liri, what a worry and WW, you really seem to be going through it, again best wishes.
Lizzie, you are going to need a good rest after a week of GC, 4 and 6, very lively.
Panda, I expect you are going to have a very relaxing week-end too, so pleased to read you are enjoying your new job.
I am going to try and relax and watch Strictly tonight after my hospital visit, we are an hour ahead here so timing should work out nicely. Will be a bit odd watching it without OH but a glass of red will have to make up for it.
To everyone, enjoy your day and thank you once again for kind thoughts. I am feeling positive and not fretting too much and because I have Charlie I am making sure we eat properly too so I don't want anyone worrying about us.

Have to admit I have only just emerged from my pit. Took one look at the weather at 8 ish. and decided to go back to bed. Coffee and crumpets consumed.
rest of weekend will mainly be spent watching the rugby.
DD you are quite remarkable, really hope news is good.
Enjoy your day everyone.
How can you lie there and think of England When you don't even know who's in the team
Thank you for letting us know, DD. If you need anything just pick up the phone.
Don't blame you punkdoc. It looked quite grey and depressing here at 8ish. OH went back to sleep and I read my book and drank coffee in bed. But sun is coming out now.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
That's very positive news DD. I'm glad you've had so many offers of help and it's great that Charlie has a party to go to.
Lily - oh heck, deer in the garden. They do look gorgeous though don't they
It was quite an eerie walk with the dog this morning. We went through the woods and it was sooo quiet. The sun has come out now and it's lovely out there. Enjoy your bike ride jo.
Went to the GC for bird food this morning and an Astrantia 'Roma' fell in the trolley shouting 'save me'. I also had to buy a new pair of wellies to replace the ones with a hole. Now I really must get on and do something productive.
Hi everyone. I've been thinking about you all, but our son was trying to download a new program today which took hours so I stayed off the internet to try to help things along. I'll try to be more specific tomorrow. Glad DD had some positive news.
hi everyone from freezing Scotland!! haven't been on this site for months - life just got extremely hectic, and my gardening has sadly gone by the wayside. However, I'm back and have been catching up on a few of the last pages posted here - gosh, you never know what life has in store for you do you?
my backgreen is looking extremely neglected - as usual none of the neighbours have even wafted a watering can around over the summer - so the tidy-up and winter-prep is now starting. this morning I emptied our compost tardis-bin and reckon that, when combined with a dozen binbags full of leafmould from last yr's windfall, there should be enough homemade compost to dig into and mulch all our beds.
result!!!
Lots of hugs to all... I will report back.... am away to start digging!!!

Jo, thank you, some nice looking recipes there.
Must prepare the bedrooms for granddaughter (6) and grandson (4) who are coming to stay next week. School holidays.
