Quick pop in, had a mini breakdown this afternoon as OH was whizzed away in an ambulance to intensive care at the main hospital, just as I arrived with some grapes for him at visiting time feeling calm. Anyway, they say all is under control, he is on medication, comfortable and nothing to worry about. Was just a shock walking into the ward and seeing that but obviously they are just doing the best for him.
Thanks for all good wishes and I will keep you up to date. I am going the school meeting tonight, it will keep my mind occupied, it is important and it means I won't be on my own. Charlie is coming too, there will be nibbles and cakes so he will be happy. He is fine, taking it all in his stride, he just knows Daddy is in hospital and the doctors are making him better, which is exactly what is happening.

Have had fish and chips and runner beans picked before the frost got them. Bother, was hoping chips counted as one of the 5 a day. Runner beans must count even if they've got butter on them!
Glad DD's got the meeting to go to. Was going to ring her. Not good to be on her own at such a time.
Have shifted 10 barrows of manure from the paddock to the veg garden and removed 2 barrows of weeds from the veg garden to the heap. Outdoor tomatoes, sweet peppers and courgettes are blackened by the frost.

I went a walk today after work - the weather was so fantastic. Up at the Rest and Be Thankful. Had tremendous views. It's a Corbet next to one I did a few weeks ago when the weather was poor, so it made up for it today.
...and now I'm back - rested and thankful!
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
