DD - just got in and seen your first posting today. What a dreadfully worrying time for you. Hope it all goes well explaining things to Charlie - I'm sure you'll find the words. He and you must feel as though your world is upside down at the moment.

I do hope you get some reassuring news from the hospital soon and it's not long before things are back under control and your OH can look forward to coming home.

Very best wishes to you and yours x

DD - have you got people booked in at the moment or soon?image.  It just occurred to me how much of a juggling act you have to do.  Probably a good thing that Charlie will be on holiday so you don't have to worry about picking up or dropping off.  The hospitals there sound great and I'm sure OH will get the best possible treatmentimage.

On a lighter note I've been thinking of changing my name,  As Verdun said 'who uses their real name' - well I did because I'd never been on a forum beforeimage.  I was thinking of Lol.

Hosta I love the smell of coconut oil, just not sure about ..........

Oooh  'eck!!!  The other day I told Fairy her envelope was in the post - I thought it was - I'd walked down to the post box and posted several envelopes, but .................... when I unpacked my shopping just now from my big bag guess what I found image

SORRY FAIRY!!!!!!!!!!!  I'll post it this afternoon - promise!!!  but I've missed today's collection image

On the plus side - at last I've bought a new toaster - hope OH likes it - in the end I went for a two slot Dualit (cream colour).  I'm fed up with buying cheapies that die just after the guarantee runs out.  I got this one from John Lewis so it's got a 2 year guarantee so fingers crossed.

Right - Fairy's envelope is in the postbox - definitely!  I've filled the car with petrol so I can pick OH up from the station this evening ... and the toast that I've just made to test out the new toaster has no calories whatsoever - how can it have?  It's just a trial run image

    Hi all,

DD sending you and your family hugs x

We've had a big skip to part fill this week so not been around much. They delivered a huge for one for same cost as a small one and OH will not send a skip back with room in it.

Tomoz off to mum's to see what is lurking in her garage before I invite more neighbours to help fill it. An old microwave was taken out overnight along with a rusty lamp and a pair of wrecked trainers ..they must have liked the laces.

I've also had to purchase new exciting things image Car battery, ironing board, new microwave (retro cream and silver my cooker is like the one with the mouse in  & and outside light bulb image

Due to expended energy tonight I think we've earned a Cowboy meal imageBeans, sausages, mushrooms, oven chips, toms & a fried egg .image OH has had his Benecol this morning image
