I'm getting confused. Think I should have stayed in bed longer.

I don't know where the day has gone, today. After a quick trip to town to post a letter. We've been sitting of the front verandah. I've been working on the cross stitch samplers for the lavender bags and Hubby has been doing something on his lap top. The temp was just comfortable and a light breeze. It's revved up now, both wind and temp, so I'm inside. Still, altogether a lovely relaxed day. Couldn't ask for more.image

Thanks Jo - I had an excellent night - think a walk along the beach at Minsmere yesterday did the trick - it definitely blew some cobwebs away ..... brrrrrrrr

Morning all - glad you've had a good  day Pat image

Hi doc - great to see you up and about. Keep on keeping on  image

Off in a little while to Bridge of Orchy to walk (Beinn Dorain) - may be just a bit windy though.... image

Liri - don't know if you can get it on iPlayer - BBC2 Scotland is doing a Cameron McNeish prog - A Road Less Travelled - it was on last night here.  You might enjoy one bit in particular image

I like all the Quality Street apart from the orange ones - anyone want those?

Have a good day everyone - whether it's relaxing, visiting, being visited or eating. Or all of the above image

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
  • Morning all, hello Pat.

Looks rather chilly out there this morning and rather misty.

Good to see you Pdoc, hope you feel better day by day.

Pat, that sounds like a lovely way to spend the day.

RB, poppet amazes us all the time. image

Not sure what we are up to today, but perhaps some HW here too image

    Have a good day everyone.

  • Morning folks.

Love your photo Dove, nothing beats a walk along the beach.

    Verdun your walk sounded lovely.

Pat string in out on your verandah sounds very idyllic!

Jo, I have  housework and a huge pile of ironing to attack today too.

Spent most of the day outside in the garden yesterday, planting up my new plants ,weeding and generally tidying up.........paying the price now with a very painful back. Once I get going hopefully it will ease up abit.

    Have a super day x

Hi everyone, yes it was a good day, but I don't imagine I'll get away with often.  Good while it lasted, though.

i meant to ask - several of you yesterday were writing about an Agatha Christie program. What was it, please? Obviously not a usual episode of Miss Marple or Poirot.

jo, we had the rest of the risotto just now and it was terrific. Talk about lazy - left over risotto from yesterday and left over curry from the night before. What did we do before microwaves?image
