Dove - is it a couple of telephone masts that are attached to the shoulders of the jacket?

Been busy cleaning floors and second lot of washing will soon be done, so then I can go out. No doubt it will cloud over and rain when I do!

Glad you're back up & running Doveimage

Good to see things coming to life Fairy.

    Clari imageprogress with your pond.

Pdoc, you only get hugs for one day with manflu image

Whilst I'm here should I give my Tea Roses their proper Spring pruning now or wait, as they are already shooting?

Afternoon everyone Blue skies and sunny here.  I seem to have spent all day in supermarkets, but the freezer is now full, the fridge is full, the fruit bowl is full, and the biscuit tin is full.I shouldn't have to go shopping for a bit.image

I heard Jeremy Vine on the radio. 300 million to India when they have enough money todo a space program? Maybe they could spend the space money on the starving indians living in slums, and we could spend 300 million on the south west of the country and our infrastructure. Our roads are like a third world country. IF they were repaired properly they would last longer.

Time to call a state of emergency and send in the armed forces., and every ablebodied man on unemployment benefits to help with labour and get the mess sorted out.

Failing that there are a few fat cats in London who need fairygirls wand up the rear end.

Little-Ann 'i cant remember who was going to Grasmere for a night at the Daffodil Hotel this week and was hoping it would snow, we have not had any snow yet other than on the high fell'

Hi little ann, it was me that went to Coniston but I did mention Grasmere and the Daffodil Hotel as one of my favourite places. There wasn't any snow, only a bit at the top of Old Man image

I had a lovely day/evening away, the weather stayed dry and we did a 6+mile walk followed by leisurely meal in the Black Bull, can't beat it!! Then back to the cottage for......MALTESERS, I had some eventually!!

Still thinking about all the poor people that are flooded. Also thoughts to you Matty, I haven't met you before but please accept my condolences.

Hoe anyone feeling ill soon feels better and hope punkdoc recovers from his manflu soon.
