Hello all, just been catching up on things on here
Nice pic of 4thPanda there
Today it was sunny so I have planted out my new small peach tree into a small raised bed I made, after digging a hole first and wacking the raised bed in with a hammer, now filled with compost and leaf mulch, I have painted the raised bed a pale purple colour
Lovely sunny day today here - spent most of it in the garden tidying up and shaping bushes and shrubs - washing drying quickly on the line - can't believe it was just a brief respite in the bad weather.
Thoughts are with Verdun and everybody in the far west tonight .
Good morning all - I do hope that everyone is safe ((hugs)).
Like you Verdun, I despair for those on the Levels, how do you move a herd of cows or flock of sheep? Where do you take them to? Where do you get their winter feed from when all your barns are flooded and all your neighbours too? That's the sort of problem the Dept of Environment seem not to have even considered I shall not go on or I shall become angry and it will spoil the day ......................
On a brighter note .... IT'S THE SNOWDROP WALK TOMORROW Fortunately the venue has a good supply of tea and cakes so soggy gardeners will be able to recover from the effects of the weather in style
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Morning Dove As you can see, I am getting into the spirit of things. Fidget managed to catch me on my practise walks yesterday It was a bit soggy amongst the snowdrops but it hasn't dampened () my enthusiasm for tomorrow
Have what feels like a trapped nerve in my arm so am awake a bit earlier than usual
Off to see the Strictly tour later at the O2! Roll on the sequins
Good Morning Dove, I won't add anything to spoil your day Just hugs for all who need them.
I'm glad your walk is tomorrow otherwise I think Panda might explode with giddiness. Please make sure she has a good long walk so she is calmer for Wed's.
Wow Panda, lucky you, Strictly, would love to see that. You've had a busy few days, bingo, guides and then 2 snow drop walks! Hope you have a lovely time tonight, not too late or you'll fall asleep amongst the snowdrops tomorrow.
Dove I agree with you, but won't say anymore, we don't want an angry Dove.

Stacey told me to soak the chilli peppers she sent in tea overnight.
I fear my brain is overworked for it took me two attempts to make tea without milk
