Never grown courgettes???????? They're so beautiful - OH is regularly transfixed by those beautiful flowers - we grow yellow ones, they look fantastic on the plant and the plate and we think the flavour is better too
And such a cheap meal, a courgette or two, possibly with the flower still attached, onion and garlic softened in olive oil, a handful of green herbs and some parmesan stirred into a bowl of pasta

Don't try too many, Verdun - unless you really eat a lot a couple of plants will provide! I grow them but not a big fan; someone told me the yellow ones have less taste!...?

Ooh, all this cake and Doves pasta dish very yummy.
We grow courgettes, we love them too. But Steves right you get loads, we usually have to give some away, both boys get them and neighbours.
Lots of lovely plants there Daisy, what a bargain!
