Shame about the cold Dove. A hot toddy may be called for later. Wonky I hope yours gets better soon. You've enough on your plate as it is. One of these days you'll get a nice surprise when you get home. Don't give up badgering the landlord.
Lizzie, amazing the difference just an hour away, no frost here but apparently possibly tonight. Great to see you yesterday, so nice to have a chat, sorry realised after you had gone I forgot to get the biscuits out.
Hello and congrats to WS, 1st time pass is very good, no wonder you haven't had time to be on here, been practising a lot as well as decorating. No stopping you now.
I had a bit of a morning this morning, flat tyre on the way to school (2nd in a few weeks), we have a track rather than a road and I'm sure that's the cause. Was very chilly getting it sorted.
Dove & WW, hope those colds clear up soon.
Hosta and Lyn enjoy your hot date.
Fairy, lovely pics. Children In Need money in the banking system now so you should get it soon. OH used his old UK bank in the end to make life easier.I told him to reference it as Dordogne Damsel, he looked at me quizzically but went off to do it.
Have a good day all, I'm off to the Garden Club meeting (hopefully) have to cadge a lift from someone first though as it clashes with Charlie's horse riding lesson, OH has offered to take him but we only have one car. Logistics, logistics.

Lily I saw your question about the ants and my answer disappeared. They are about 1 to 2mm but it's not the size and the bite that's frightening, it's the vast numbers - millions and millions go on the rampage. I remember seeing my Dad running up the garden, tryingto take his trousers off at the same time, as he'd stepped in on of their runs. Not so funny for him though.
Hi Lizzie, DD and GWRS, hadn't refreshed the page so you were hiding.
DD re flat tyre. Hope you manage to cadge a lift to the Garden Club. I'm sure you're dying to get that bandage off your hand. Have they said how long it will be till you can?
Lovely morning here too but very cold so I'll see if it warms up for a bit of gardening this afternoon.
Got a lift to the Garden Club, the president's husband is coming for me bless him, I don't think he had much choice about it, our president is very keen on full attendance. Going to give him the chocolate biscuits I forgot to give Bizzie Lizzie yesterday by way of thanks.
At the hospital they first said 3 - 6 weeks and it was being checked and dressed every 2 days. They have made it every 3 days now and it is looking better - not pretty but better, hopefully will be nearer the 3 weeks than the 6. It's only a little bandage but gosh it gets in the way.
Been out and collected more apples and am now wondering what else I can do with them apart from apple pie, apple crumble, tarte tatin and chutney, think Charlie & OH are a bit over faced with all of the above, not sure why apple chutney should be rejected for breakfast on a warm croissant.
