Fairy: not selling. Just sorting out the mortgage.
Jobs all sorted even got my hair cut (first time this year!) And washing now drying outside: what a nice treat! A few days ago I thought the fair weather was over.
The sun has gone in and the temperature has plummeted.
Fairygirl: I don't mind the tidying, its good to have a excuse to have a sort out! We seem to end up keeping all kinds of rubbish that there really is no good reason not to recycle. I mean who really needs 26 little glass jars? (Don't worry I still kept 8!)
Bit of a rush this morning, went out for a coffee with a friend and then on to lunch with a different friend, my last day of freedom Woo hoo! Give me a week and I bet I'm singing a different tune
It's great that it's worked out well for you, Panda - and we'll all be here when you need a good rant about your work ...
Rain came back on here - an awful lot of black clouds looming on the horizon
Got a lot done yesterday after work though - chopped up tons of branches from the pine tree and put them into the brown bin, and demolished the dog rose on a bit of fence near the shed. Very jaggy It will get dug out and I'll sort something else for there. If the rain goes off, I could go and load all that into the brown bin now that it's empty again
or I could do ironing ...
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Had a productive afternoon. My newly up cycled boxes are in place and I've put a few inches of old newspapers in the bottom. I'll then stick a layer of not quite rotted garden compost on top and leave them over winter to settle down before filling and planting next spring.
Hubby had xrays " 2 - 3 weeks for results"!! Why?
Weather has been fine here, dry with some sun and the light wind has come and gone in waves all day.
It's the weekend. and fidgets wedding. Fingers crossed for both.
I keep forgetting it gets dark so early Verd. I suppose because the summer's been so poor here, it's wishful thinking - we're hoping that summer's still to arrive...
Seems a long time Hosta. I suppose they have to be sure of the interpretation though. Or am I just giving them the benefit of the doubt?

Ah
It's a pain when you have people coming round and you have to go round tidying isn't it!
Got my washing in and now the rain's gone off and the sun's come out again.
