Runny you might need a tetanus jab, best to get it checked out, better safe than sorry. Mind you I'm like you waiting to see how things settle before seeking advice........fell in the garden last week , thought at first I had broken my wrist, but decided to wait.....and thankfully all is well but I've been in increasing pain around my middle and today found out that I have probably fractured one of my ribs and am now on a 6 wk course of strong painkillers. So get it checked......OK?
Well Runny, you'll either be feeling loved and cared for, or hounded... hope it feels better soon anyway!
Agree with you about the friendliness of the NE, Gertie - we spent 22 years there. But West Yorks isn't bad
Watched the Bake-off final on i-player. I'd wondered at all you softies, being moved to tears, but I see what you mean now. Great show, and the right result, in my opinion.
OH is coming with me to visit a couple of care homes tomorrow... hope we find a good'un.
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.
Morning everyone. Cool overcast day here. Have just re-lit the fire (heater) which we thought was packed up for the winter. Not long swept up all the remaining ash everywhere in the house and now starting again - messy things, these heaters. Luckily, Hubby hadn't yet climbed onto the roof to clean the chimney, so that job needn't be duplicated.
Have seen lots of photos on TV of the Borealis Australis which has been lighting up the southern skies. If we had it, we didn't see it for cloud. I also suspect we are a bit north to get the full image. Melbourne got it though.
Well, poor Wonky's electrician and plumber didn't turn up!!! She is not best pleased Texts have been sent to landlord! No washing machine plumbing and only the landlord's crummy cooker and not their own lovely one. Think they'll have to find their way to the nearest laundrette this weekend to get some clothes readty to wear for work next week! We did some sorting and finding homes for things in the kitchen and whizzed around Sainsbugs and picked up some cheap tee shirts and undies to help with the laundry situation.
I got home around nine o'clock last night, ate supper and fell asleep on the sofa - so now I'd better have a look and see what's been going on here
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
