Lovely sunny morning again, summer seems to be trying to come back....YAY!

Happy birthday Verdun.
WW hope pussycat gets better soon.
Clari, wipes and a little bottle of that sanitiser hand wash in your bag hope you feel better soon. Hope you don't have a repeat of last year, you seemed to have a never ending cold.
Chicky hope chicklet enjoys her first day.
DD that sounds like a lovely walk. Glad Charlie had a good party too.
Oh heck sorry i've forgotten the rest, hope everybody is well, has a good day etc.
Ooh Verdun I didn't see it was your birthday! Have a great day I will drag myself from my bed to find cake to consume in your honour. Or at the very least I'll fill a mug with squirty cream
Lily: I could far too easily become a hermit, it almost sounds ideal. Without visitors imagine how clean I could get the exhibits in the museum (this week is going to mostly involve repairing many broken exhibits that careless visitors did their best to destroy over the summer holidays... aaaaggggghhhhhhh).
All I need is some planters on the walls for my strawberry plants and I'm sure a roof top vegetable plot is possible around the lookout tower!
Where would you go if you could become a hermit?
Pat: I hope your friend feels better soon. I had flu early this year and til then had completely forgotten how incapacitated it makes you. Even an attempt to get in the shower seemed like I was climbing a mountain in Wales (I say Wales because it explains the wet).
Hello Steve, Flatters my adopted stray shed cat had a nasty abscess in his cheek a few months ago after a bad fight. Vet cleaned it and removed knackers, gave an anti bio jab....a month later reappeared, same treatment, now back this month....vet says may not be the same abscess so have to pay again! bull......its the same and I'm broke!....so goes the tale of the soft hearted, low paid support worker and her pets!
Thanks for taking an interest hope you have a lively day
Yes Clarington, I'm planning on ringing her later to see how she's going. She complained of strong joint pain as well as everything else. Luckily she works in a medical centre, so she gets prompt attention from the doctors there.
Lovely day here in the Scottish Borders. Epic weekend, the Waverley line from Edinburgh reopened yesterday and we'll have a visit from a steam train on wed carrying the queen and on Tuesday we have the tour of Britain passing through. Watch out for my home town of Selkirk!!!
Bushman, I hope we get to see the race. We're still watching the Tour of Spain every night, but our TV channels prefer football or cricket, so we have to take whatever crumbs they allow us. I'll look out for Selkirk. (What is the translation of that, I know kirk is church, what does the Sel stand for?)
It's a glorious morning here too Bushman. Give us a wave if you find any tv cameras pointing at you.
Have a great time with the family LilyP.
Chicky I hope chicklet gets on well today. Your buddleja looks lovely.
Pat you're at that exciting stage where spring is in the air and little seedlings show their heads. Don't you just love it. As for getting TWO trucks bogged down
DD what lovely pics. Glad Charlie's party went well (for most). I've got a soft spot for Bernese Mountain Dogs, they're beautiful.
Hope your cold clears quickly Clari.
WW poor Flatters is still going through the mill isn't he. I once had a horrible one behind my ear and they told me at the hospital that it could come back. Fortunately it hasn't so far.

Wonky, you sound so stressed. Time for a nice cup of tea and cake and a sit down, I think. Take care.
