Just had evidence of my rock and roll lifestyle... Nothing like an urgent defrosting of the small freezer after a sudden realisation that the door wasn’t closing!
Evening all, end of a very busy day and all is well, except last lot of guests haven't arrived yet and now in a dilemma over whether to go to bed or not. They booked online and will have to pay if they don't arrive but that is not the point, no phone call or e-mail responses to my time of arrival request, worried they will wake everyone else up if they don't get here soon - and I am in need of my beauty sleep, another busy day tomorrow.
Also had a minor (I hope) mishap with the car, ran it into a ditch (heavily disguised as a grass verge). Luckily half a dozen big strong men got it out for me, think they were very pleased to show off their manliness, added a bit of excitement to their day. Lost the mudguards and will have to get it checked at a garage on Monday but fingers crossed no serious damage has been done, it certainly didn't vibrate on the way home like Lizzie's.
Good night and good wishes to all, not nice hearing people's upset over unkind relatives, do you think they realise how much they hurt people's feelings? Very sad.

Managed to deliver the toad in the hole that I promised stepson two weeks ago just before the burns incident!
no injury incurred this time thankfully!
