Are you counting the hours Hosta?   image

I use one ( adblocker) from Chrome Dove. Just called Adblock Plus.

BL - there's fanatics of all creeds and colours who start wars in the name of some religion or other. Sadly, as always,  the innocent, decent ones will inevitably get tarred with the same brush. No easy solution except vigilance.

Fish and chips sounds like a good idea in this miserable weather. Perhaps we'll do the same here. I've been watching the little coal tits in the 'cage'. They're quite at home. Even the dunnocks are popping in and out no bother - perching happily and having their lunch. image

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
  • Hope you both have a brilliant holiday Hosta - but it really wouldn't do for me - I melt image

If the powers that be sort themselves out we'll still be going to Sharm in January.

I still reckon you're more likely to die in a car crash on the way to the airport.

Some people integrate. Polish who came here during WW2  fought for their country from here, many stayed after, married and had children. Others have no intentions, demanding interpreters, separate schools and in some cases separate laws. If you dont want your girls contaminated by our culture, dont live here. If you want to live under sharia law, where women are treated worse than the cat, go and live in Saudi Arabia. I object to being told by men who can barely speak English, what I should wear, and where I can go. I liked England as it was.

I wonder how many brits living in the Costas speak fluent Spanish?

    Just a thought.

Busy L, I don't cope in the heat well either! I like spring, its the perfect time of year for me, just a nice temperature and full of promise! Guess our families may have come from a cooler climate before our ancestors settled in their respective chosen homes image

" a nice temperature" for me is between 25 - 28C unless I'm on a beach on holiday then there is no upper limit.image

Thanks for the link to the adblocker - however Firefox is not letting me access Google - something's amiss - any ideas?
