Clari, I thought all charities had to hold reserves of funds, dependant on how large the charity, to ensure payment of wages.  image

  • Morning  all, just had a quick glance back over posts.

Poor Panda, I want to say take it easy and rest up.  but not too sure if that's the answer in your case......take care x

Clari, hope it all gets sorted out....terrible thing to happen.

DD so glad to hear that you are feeling better.

punkdoc, totally agree with you with regards to paperwork....my small pile is now a mountain!

Hi to all that are up and about and looking in, have a good day.

The continuing garage sorting saga at my Dad's is on our agenda today,  not looking forward to it as I've had a bad sore throat for the past couple of days and I fear that garage dust won't help matters.

    Take care allx

  • Oops missed you there KEF.....hi and have a good day

    Morning allimage

Ouch Panda - hope you are not feeling too sore this morning.  And glad to hear you are feeling much better DDimage.

Having a cuppa in bed, before I get up and count the birds in my garden.  Then out for a walk somewhere.

All this talk of paperwork is making me feel guilty - our "admin" draw won't shut any more coz its too full.  I hate sorting it out, but probably should whilst gardening is not distracting me.  Or maybe I should find a second "admin" drawer and start all over againimageimage.  Or put it all in a big box marked 2014/15 and leave it unsortedimage

  • Good idea chicky.....I'm aiming for a mountain range!!

    Morning all.

Only popped into kitchen briefly last night so didn't read all the posts. Oh dear Clari, how upsetting, the boss should pay you interest. All sounds rather precarious.

I hope your boob is less sore today Panda, hope it didn't keep you awake.

My paper work mountain dates from 2 years. I pay the bills as they come in or by DD. The pile is just waiting to be put tidily in the filing cabinet, but I hate doing it and the study is a cold room. Have better things to do when the weather is warm!

Grey again this morning, hope the sun comes out like yesterday.

Yes, David, they were French onions from my veg garden. But peas were bought frozen, the mice ate mine when we were away image

Clarington, when you kick him up the bum, tell him about BACS clearing system. I dont know anyone who pays wages by cheque, it just gets transferred automatically from employers bank account to employees.  We're in the 21st century now, not the 20th. An emergency locum I did at the beginning of the month, was paid that night and in my bank next morning.

Morning all - won't say 'good' as it currently looks like Mordor out there  image

Snow, sleet and hail - all horizontal. Glad I did my Bird Watch earlier when the birds were queuing up for breakfast on the snow. All the usual suspects - but when I went out,  Mr Blackie at the apples, and three more males huddling in the shrubbery! image

And at the last moment - the goldcrest appeared briefly  image and double image

    Clari - fidget's right. B****y nonsense. You're being treated like s***. image

Plus - cheques are ludicrous now - any business  has to pay more to have them processed so it makes no sense at all to use them.

Glad you're on the mend DD - but take a break now and again!

I should get some breakfast - being drinking tea since I got up and did the birds.

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

My New Years resolution was to file paperwork as it came in, so far I have done just that, will it last, doubt it.

I have finished, paid  and put away 2014/15 though. Going through 15/16 now so well up to date. My daughter gets hers in by the 31.jan, just by the skin of her teeth.

Hosta will be home soon, I have missed him, he is very good company and great fun to go out with. I feel sorry the holiday didn't turn out as peaceful as they wanted and needed. His OH had worked hard for it.

Clari, how worrying for you, nothing worse than a bounced cheque. One of ours was delayed last week, but then he paid it direct into the bank.

Take care and keep eye on the bruised b**b panda.

weather looking promising for today, sun trying to break through, very boggy everywhere though. Maybe just some greenhouse work.

    have a good day folks.
