They will, but the regular posters will know what's going on. This is such a great thread for everyone to catch up be a shame to let it bother the regulars.
Can't believe how ridiculous the last few days have been on the forum.
Like whiteheather I am not going to post at least until the end of the Summer, so if anything crops up under 'Pentillie' name - it ain't me!
I will continue reading all your posts, and learning a lot, so have a good, successful summer - may the sun shine lots, and the plants thrive ( after all, the forum is still intended to make life enjoyable, and perhaps easier, for all dedicated gardeners.)
Will be back in Cornwall for a break in a few weeks - will keep an eye open for Verdun ( the real one!)
I got home to find 3 bare root irises on the doorstep - do i go over to the GH at 6.30 tomorrow morning to sort them out (in pink fluffy dressing gown) , or can i keep them ticking over til the weekend ??
Answers on a postcard please ....(but not about the dressing gown - thats a non-negotiable)
Hello folks - I've been out again and missing all the fun Good to see Doc back amongst his friends.
WUMS will come and go - they always have and I imagine they always will. They crave power and attention, but they can't have any of it unless we give it to them.
Can I suggest that we just get on as we always do and try not to be too reactive. It's not good to appear to be pushed around.
If somebody posts something inflammatory the likelihood is that they're a WUM so ignore them.
Gardeners come on here to talk about gardens, gardening and .......... cake...........and occasionally cheese scones! Anything else, if posted by strangers, is best left alone in my humble opinion.
If something out of character has been posted by a familiar name then take no notice of it - PM the person whose name s being used by going into Your Messages and messaging them from there, rather than by clicking on the avatar by the suspicious post.
And also, I have email addresses for several of you, and several of you have my email. I find it reassuring to know that if things are going a bit haywire I can check in with some of you via email. Some of you might find it helpful to PM your email address to a few trusted friends.
And then ................ ignore the bu$$er - in every meaning of the word. Don't give him/her/it the oxygen of publicity.
Let's talk gardening...................

I don't mind, but do agree whatever thread we go on most the WUMS will find us.

Best wishes all.
I see what Lizzie & Pd mean. However I do think the "Forkers" title has had it's day.
I had wondered since we are on the Potting Shed category, we might be the "Chatting Shed"or something like that.
But I'm happy to go with the majority as long as we are united.
Also noted what Nut said & I'll refrain from advertising any problems.
Time for bed for me. Chat tomorrow, sleep well all.
Have a good growing season, Pentillie.
