Nope, didn't work, oh well, wasn't so important anyway, and definitely not rude! Just quoted something KEF said about no alalrm clock. Looks like it didn't like the quote.

WEll I don't know - away for an afternoon and come back to find 72 notifications - guess they are getting things sorted outimage

My M has trips and visits out or in  the home. The one that sticks in my mind was when they had 2 baby pigs running around the lounge - a lot of them are old country fol - my M a city girl was horrifiedimage

they bought in a fish and chp supper from the local chippy recently and they all loved it

Vet said dog needs to be on medication for ever now - ££££ - still he is so much better

Panda, you could fix it up against the shed wall, put a bench underneath it and lovely smelling climbers over it and call in an arbour image

KEF, the alarm goes off at 5.30am, but I usually turn it off at about 5.15am as my bodyclock protects me from the shock of sudden noises image  Even when we're away I'm awake about then - that's why I get up and noodle with you lot in the early morning, so as not to get fidgety and wake OH.  And even when I'm retired OH will still be working so  I'll probably get up and see him off in the morning image

Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

  • Lol Matty I can remember my mum having cats or dogs brought  in (not together! ) the residents loved it. Its so nice to know  they are being cared for isn't it Matty.

Oh Panda - that is looking a bit sad.  However, once you get a few plants up it, you won't be able to see the framework - can you wait that long ?  (maybe mile a minute clematis is the answer !)

Glad to hear your dog is doing well Matty - even if he is the source of £££s flying out the door in the future.

For all those looking after P's, it is nice to hear some stories about good care - the only ones that make the papers are the shocking stories.  Only have one P to worry about now - and currently he is in fine fettle - long may it continue.

Went out in daylight and inspected my borders.  All I can say is that now I have hastily cut down some of the taller perennials (pre-storm damage limitation exercise) I can see the vast quantity of weeds more clearly.  More than one weekend's work I fearimage

  • Evening all isn't it always the way chicky.... Went to GC today and ended up coming away with cyclamen for the woods and some cute but v small aster hybrids. I have no use where to put them but I loved carol kleins piece on them last week and have been admiring them at the side if the road all around. I think I might pot them up and see if they grow taller and they are dinky it was another oooooooo I like them moment. Have put them in their pots where I thought they may look ok and bless them they look pathetic!!! Ahhhhh well ...... And I'm 3 pumpkins down 2 or 3 to go

It is quite pathetic isn't it! I might see if I can salvage it with some wooden poles up the sides and a bit of trellising on the uprights image As I have no handy OH it's all down to me image Interestingly, he was more upset than I was at the damage!

Archie - just seen your post - I must have started mine at the same time as you imageGreat minds. . . . as they say image

    I don't have a handy OH either.

I have an arch like that and have threaded an 8ft cane in and out down the middle of the sides into the ground,

    has held up so far!
