    Morning Lily image

The fig stays outside - it's in a big terracotta pot in the southeast corner of the terrace - it's a Brown Turkey and they're pretty tough - I wouldn't normally be fleecing it except in really hard frosts, but the little fruit have started to swell early this year because of the mild winter, so I'm just being ultra cautious.

Good morning all. Nothing to report, just having breakfast.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

Good Morning all, sun shining but I don't know what temp' I haven't ventured out. Had a really good night out, my curry was mediocre but it didn't matter, as OH's was very nice imageimage

I'm not sure what today's cunning plan is, more tea needed as I think I'm still half asleep.

Haven't been out for a curry for an age .............

However, plans are afoot to go here before too long http://www.thebelgianmonk.com/pdf/food.pdf - their Moules et frites are wonderful .... and so is everything else - tartiflette to die for image

They sell more than 15 tonnes of mussels per year!!!  And look at their beer menu http://www.thebelgianmonk.com/pdf/beer.pdf !!!

Morning all. Glad your evening was enjoyable kef, more to a night out than the food! Stop talking about fig trees please, I've read a bit recently about them and think I might give one a go, maybe next year, enough to do and learn this year, but if you keep on saying all these positive things I might end up greedy on an empty tummy! :/

Hope you all have a good day and the weathers ok.

just noticed my first tulips are out image

Morning all. Had a good sleep for a change. Lazed around for a while watching Griff Rhys Jones and having brekkie. Beautiful day so no doubt I'll spend ages debating what I should do to make the most of it. Grass needs a cut so I might do it even if the ground's still a bit iffy. Lots of painting still, and maybe get the big pot washed for sw. peas. Might just sow them and cover them till they germinate.

Hope everyone has a good day. Off for a look round as I wasn't on last night image

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Fairy I'm pleased that you've got some good weather for a change. MrsGarden some of my tulips in pots are almost there, some of the others in the garden have been chomped.

Dove that's some menu, I'd need to decide before the day and not look at it in the restaurant or I'd be changing my mind and delaying everyone. Not read the beer menu will look at that after some breakfast.
