Very cold, windy and rainy here, GH construction has commenced (just), in the house because to use Punk's word I am nesh!

Anyway, had to go to B&Q for an essential tool which OH didn't mention he doesn't have, the moral of the story is.....never let me go tool buying when Orchids are half price at the entrance door in the exact colour I have been wanting imageimage

Excuse photo quality, taken quickly on my iPad.  Right, back to work image

It's beautiful KEF, loads of buds and healthy leaves and only £5, would have been rude to take it back out of the basket when it had jumped in image

Come on kef, there's just been an insey bit of sunshine hasn't there?

Would be sowing more seed inGH if id bought one I could stand in rather than just a 'grow house', didn't think that one through!

Glad all is going smoothly Verdun. Do you mean you wonder if the dear neighbour will get any chocs?

Well, that must set a record. Supermarket done, garden centre visited, Polytunnel  bought, had a coffee and a ake. polytunnel erected, cover on,  bricks around base and filled up with plants. More cake and coffee. and its only 4pm.

Glad the seeds arrived , Panda. If the soil is clear, you can scatter away and the showers will water it in.

Some more painting done but rain came on. That orange fence paint should be banned - it's  a nightmare to cover up image

Think I'm single handedly keeping Ronseal in business...now I know how those men who  painted the Forth Bridge felt image

Is there any chance that the neighbour will get any chocs Verd? Or will it just be an empty box full of little paper cases....image

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Had a good lunch with my family, at least some of them.

Has rained a lot today. Pleased with the blue penstemon cuttings I took last autumn, they have lots of roots, have potted them on. One was big enough to take 3 more cuttings.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
