Here is the alpine plant pot Woody from InExcess 8ltr pot £12.99 looks really good
Iris Pallida variegata like this one £6.50
So here is the steam train going through Sholing it was going quite fast so did not get many pics there, hope they enjoyed going past our garden, few people came to take pics and see the train
Botley station later in evening, this is the fire truck that had to fill the train with water following it around all day to fill with water
and the hose use
Train coming into the station
As the train had to fill with water it stopped here for 10 mins - so I got a better pic
The water filling up from the fire truck was really loud and the steam coming out so really loud altogether bad on ears - found a few pennies at both stations so 5p up
I have harvested a few spuds, broad beans, lettuce only eat from garden try and hide it in my sandwiches and peas which were yummy - which made me think where is poddington pea gone they not been on for a bit
Chicky your sweet peas look lovely
mine in pot flowering a bit, ones in ground still not there yet to any signs of flowers sowed all at same time but bit late this year and not doing that great
I'm not a huge train fan, as in I don't know what they are etc but I do like steam trains, there is just something about them
Forgot to say lovely sweet peas Chicky, mim nit doing very well today am I??!! And also forgot to say enjoy the concert Woody,MIT looks like your weather will be better than ours was on Friday!
I have some sweet peas on my kitchen window sill at the moment and the smell drifts through the house when the breeze blows, I love it I also love walking up to my veg patch where they are growing, the smell is lovely.
Right, off for my first coffee of the day and another doze while OH watches the grand prix then it's my turn to have the TV at 2pm

I intend to, tonight. With butternut squash & beetroot, as an accompaniment to something with pork loin steaks
With a bit of luck I'll be roasting home-grown butternut squash in a month or two.
AAGGHH!! In two months it'll be September !
