So sorry hear your news Stacey, keep fighting and you'll get through it and be gardening in the spring. We are all behind you.

Good to have you back KEF. Did you have a lovely time?

It rained quite a bit in the night but the garden was very dry, so that's good.

Yesterday I started doing something I've been meaning to do for 2 years, but we didn't have any gravel. Now that we've been to get some with OH's little trailer I've been able to start sorting around his shed. I am making a neat (I hope) narrow gravel border around it so he can mow up to it neatly. I removed half a barrow of soil, put down a fabric membrane and then the gravel, mixed with anti-cat granules (probably won't work).

The earth I mixed with compost and rotted manure and planted my Rosa Complicata from David Austin that I bought in June in a large pot. No room in the borders. Impulse buy!

Just sitting by pool after jet lag massage. Very warm pool, like a warm bath. First dives tomorrow.

Very sad news, stacey. Lots of hugs and best wishes. Leave  the garden,it will still be there in the spring.

I hope the aussie lodger housesitter has remembered to put the heating on in the greenhouse. Fingers crossed.

    Hi Folks,

Stacey sorry to hear you are so ill.  If determination has anything to do with it I'm sure you will be bouncing back.

KEF glad to see you back.

Lily hope your back continues to improve.  I'm feeling much better now.  Yesterday did quite a bit in the garden but today I think I'm going to take it easy.  Back on Nanna duty tomorrow for a couple of days so a lazy day is in order.

Great to see KEF back - we've missed you - hope you had a fab time.  And you and fidget must have crossed in mid-air - one jetting in, one jetting out.  Fidget - hope there are many wonderful dives on your remote island (v impressed that there is internet by your pool!)

Just went out to deadhead a few things as the sun is shining and it looked lovely.   It is, but for the first time I felt really cold.  A real nip in the air, had to get my fleece and heating going on as we speak.

We thought that as it wasn't actually raining and the forecast is rain, that we'd lunch outside. I was cold although I wore a fleece. It's 13°. What a change! I was sleeveless yesterday.
