Lesley, I am thinking about chopping into to lawn along from my arch to 'split' the grass up a bit image. But then my border won't flow down. . . . image

Panda I hope you're always taking photos to show how much you have achieved.  I only started doing that within the last few years and am amazed at the difference.

Yeh, we had photos of the boys and dogs - plants were in the background (if any) but now I'm having fun in the garden.

Panda, just dig out the grass - you won't regret it, promise, cross my heart and all that.

Rebecca, im watching on catch up, its on on Fridays. Great this week esp Joe at the show...hey im a poet... Loved the purple and yellow (yes I know I dont DO yellow, hmmm, watch this space) also with grasses. Liked the water feature of pipes on the back wall at eye level and sempervivums wrong the lawn - not sue how that keeps dry enough???

Lesley, I thought you was telling panda to plant weeds, bit of vino consumed.

Verd the astibille leaves are h- hurmmm - green (wry little smile trying not to be sarcastic at all).

Back to GW which I've had to pause when carol came on ...

Love taking pics of the garden to remind you how far you have come!

Waiting to pick littlest chicklet up from a theatre trip - 1 hr here, 1 hour home image

Hope she has enjoyed the show ! They all need a bit of a pickmeup - her form tutor was tragically killed in a motorbike accident on the way to school on Friday morning ... we have all been in shock ever since. He was a really popular teacher, 26 and due to get married in the summer. Can't begin to think what his family are going through. All very very sad - and a reminder that everything is so fragile.

Apologies - will be back to plants and gardens in the morning
