Perhaps you should get one of the ride ons. That would jiggle you about and you could pretend it was one of those daft vibrating things people use at gyms. image

I have grass to cut later too.

Busy day at the sawmill so far - thought I'd change from the salt mine...image

Oh fairy thought you had a day off! Hope it's not too hot in that saw mill image

Today I'm clearing out my tin bath whitch had been my pretend meadow. Note to myself do not buy AT daisy things from SM next year as they are bugger to get out! Have taken for ever! image

Hi all.  Back home now and staring at the wilderness that had nearly become a half decent gardenimage  How do weeds grow so big so quicklyimage

Hope you enjoyed your picnic lilyimage.  Do you mean your sawmill at home Fairy?

Steve - I'll have a look down the back of the settee an see if I can find enough for your boatimage

Time for the annual bath then Beausimageimage

Not caught up with the new so hoping the fire in Sheffield is under control now. Nasty stuff, plastic.

When it comes to food, Verdun, I don't mess about image

Grass mown - hard work coz it was long and v sappy and the little electric rotary mower she has was struggling with it.  Raked up the last bits; trimmes the holly hedge and all the proceeds added to the compost heap with cardboard and wee.

Now rewarding myself with a cuppa and - no, not another waffle - but a soft roll with Emmenthal cheese and plum jam.  Try it before you knock it!  That'll be it till dinner: herself is taking me out to eat in Brugge.

Looks like you've all been busy, very quiet on here today.

Had a lovely walk through the woods at Winkworth Arboretum. Found a 'boat house' by the pond and had our picnic on the balcony.....bliss.

Sounds idyllic lilyimage  I said earlier that the garden is a mess but the sweet peas have romped over the path by the back door and when I opened it the scent was amazing. I'm leaving the back door open so we can smell themimage.  They haven't been deadheaded for nearly three weeks and are still going strong.  I'll be out there this evening with the secateurs - I may be gone some timeimage

  • Thats weird, I put the photos on last image  2nd pic a bit dark, it did cloud over very suddenly.

    Home from t'mill. image

Yes - work sawmill Lesley, as opposed to the one at home!  image

That one's beckoning...but it'll have to wait till tomorrow  image

My sweet peas have been a bit disappointing this year. I've grown different ones and it may be down to weather, but I had a few of the cream ones left from last year and they're performing very well, so perhaps poorer quality  seed. Gave them an extra feed last weekend so hopefully they'll get going a bit more.

There's been a lot of waffling going on here today...image
