    Morning all.

Reggie looks lovely, but I'm rather nervous of German Shepherds since being bitten by one.

Lysimachia Beaujolais looks gorgeous, Googled it, like a dark red Lysimachia Clethroides, which I have, but it's rather invasive - roots go sideways. Never seen L. Beaujolais before.

My garden, normally well drained, is sodden.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
  • Sorry Yvie, hadn't read the news about your mum. So glad she is getting better. Very best wishes  x

  • Clarington, Reggie is gorgeous, he looks very clever, will he keep you company at work? image

Thanks for all the good wishes re mum.

Reggie looks really excited at getting a new home, he'll certainly keep you on your toes going out for long walks. Have a bit of a soft spot for GS as when I was small next doors dog used to jump the fence every morning and trot upstairs and wake me up for school, he was really gentle and friendly.

Verdun I planted some seeds of Lysimachia B, have had a few germinate so I'll see how they go.

  • Morning all, (afternoon here),

Reggie looks super, cheeky glint in his eyes, going to bring a lot of fun to your home I think Clari. image

Yvie, great news about your mum, you must feel very relieved.

Mattie, great news, but steady away.

BL, we are soggy here too but sun is out now & much warmer.

My saga of a day went from bad to worse last night in one of those someone is having a laugh sort of way.image

Marmalade, our cat who has been sulking about the dog for weeks decided to leave me a 'present' in the middle of my bed, noticed a strange smell as I got in from gym. Bed stripped, washer on top cycle, windows opened and moved myself into next bedroom.

10 minutes later Charlie woke up & was sick all over his bed, poor boy was ashen. Stripped the bed, provisional hand wash (yuk) and then went to sit with poor child. That was it then, poor boy was sick every hour all night, neither of us had any sleep until about 5 am this morning when he finally seemed to settle. Feeling very sorry for himself this morning, bit of a temperature, but think the worst is over.  image

Can't believe so much drama in one day - I am normally normal - honest. image

    Good morning all.

Glad you are improving Mattie . I don't post much but try to keep up with you all.

Poor DD hope toay is better.

That's my dog, Khan, inspecting the snowdrops. He's 12 now so not so keen on 'gardening' as he once was but like everyone says,Clari, you will have some fun with Reggie.

  • Gorgeous Pam, Khan & the snowdrops, make my two little ones I was so very proud of look a bit wimpy. image

Got to midday & so far nice & quiet - fingers crossed, don't think I will tempt fate by leaving home today though. image

DD take a deep breath, hold it, relax.  I think you need a chill out day today, but I don't expect you will get it.

Just been for a quick walk round the garden and it's really exciting to see all the plants poking through the soil.  It's really cold out there.  Checked the greenhouse and scuttled back inside.

    Afternoon all.

No I haven't just got up honest. Have been out clearing more snow from various shrubs, some of which are now contorted into horrible shapes. Have managed to work up quite a sweat.

We managed to get OHs car out, so she has gone to the SM. Bit of a result there, SM or snow clearing, I think I got the better deal.

Hope your day is better DD.

Yviestevie, good news about your mum.

Mattie, hope you continue to improve.

Loving all the dog pictures, we have been talking about getting one for years, but never get beyond the...... a dog would be nice stage.
