I know Panda - I'm so chuffed They do know that I'm a regular customer - and of course they know OH - I've just been told that I'll get my Privilege Card 10% discount too
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Had a busy week (and a more busy one ahead), but found the time to visit the one nice flower show in my vicinity, and treated myself to a Sambucus "Black Lace" and some new pretty perennials.
In other news the weather turned cold again (33* on wednesday, 16* on Friday!) so I had to spread fleece all over my tomatoes and basil. Oh well! And my potatoes are blooming, very pretty, some in pink, some in blue and some pure white.
Lucky lucky Dove!!!! bet OH had painting plans for Monday that have now been shelved!
Liri, I saw those clematis on the way out of lidl! What bad positioning!!! I do only live five mins away.....I might need to get some milk......I've only got eight pints.....and I do like a cup of tea.....
I've been in and out of the shed all day with my father sheltering from rain storms every twenty minutes! One arch constructed, two pieces of trellis attached to brick dividing wall, one soggy womble, one grumbling Popsie! rain fell again before I could photograph but that's one of the next missions for the next gap in the cloudbursts!
... Dove, I have seen kids, encouraged by their parents, using these sheds as a toilet! Isnt it great when we nring you down to earth like that? Seriously though, great bit of trading. Impressed ....
You can't worry me Verdun the shed I'm having was being used under cover in the GC itself to display tools etc - no room in it for even the smallest child to perform it's ablutions, even in extremis And it comes complete with the racks/hooks etc for my tools
Pdoc - thanks for that bit of research - very grateful - will keep my eyes open
Wonky - you'll have to have a shortish clematis to climb up that new trellis on the wall - have you got a brolly for a trip to Lidl??? Then you'll need taller clematis for the new arch .............

Arabella is planted, fed, mulched and watered. Lidl here had a reasonable selection of varieties, at £3.99 each - good plants with plenty of stems. Happy choosing, Wonky!
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.

Whistling theme to Morecambe and Wise....
Evening all.
Cold and wet here today, but amazing how much stuff has grown, in the 3 days we were away.
Struggling for space again, greenhouse overflowing with Dahlias and other half hardies, but not happy to plant out yet.
Off to cook supper, will not be up to Fera's standards.
Have a good evening.
Meant to say earlier, tried a new Gin [ to me ] in London, Sipsmiths VJOP [ Very Junipery Over Proof ], it was lovely.
