Morning KEF, Clari SGL, Lesley et al .............
A small piece of roast rib of beef planned for us later today, with runner beans, roasties and yorkies I'm also going to make a cauliflower cheese for later in the week. Hoping to get the lawns mowed too - they've promised us a dry day ...
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
We had a major fight over the duvet last night. I ended up getting the spare off the spare bed. Maybe the scandinavians are on to something. The house seemed cold when we got back, so the heating has gone on.
Well done ,panda. I think working with nice people is always better.
As we were driving back from Stansted last night, there was a nasty accident where we left the A1 for Oakham. A car was on its roof on the Southbound carriageway. Paramedic was there, and then as we drove towards Oakham, two police, a fire engine, then an ambulance came screaming past us. It made me shudder. A lot of people will have had their weekend ruined, everything was at a standstill.
I hope all forkers are safe. There seems to be little good news about at the moment.
Morning all - from us holidaymakers up here in beautiful Beauly. This week, I will mostly be ....doing nothing!
Stayed up very late with the girls watching a film and chatting, but awake at half six and no chance of getting back to sleep so went and got a cuppa. Lovely and quiet.
Having my morning entertainment watching all the birds on the feeders just outside the lounge window. A somewhat clumsy, juvenile blackbird is particularly amusing! Apparently a red squirrel has been visiting recently so I may spend a lot of time just sitting...and waiting... and hoping.....
Loads of congrats to Panda - how typical that you were offered both! Just shows how good you are A big weight off your mind too.
Not had to time to catch up with you all - tinterweb's a bit hit and miss - but I'll pop in now and again.
Enjoy the rest of the weekend everyone
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Lovely sunny morning, so hopefully the red sky last night was right. Thick haze over the fields.

Have a lovely day everyone.

Morning Fidget
Two double duvets on a King sized bed - that's what I remember from staying in Denmark.
Accidents are so sad - almost always life-changing for someone, in one way or another.
Churns you up a bit doesn't it?
