Day off today for my Chelsea visit ....and the sun is shining ......soooooo excited
Panda - I had definitely heard 5pm on Monday for the train strike (that way they can make sure 24 hours catches a working day too) so although I have fingers crossed i think you and your companions will be just fine.
hope second garden visit goes well Lizzie - you're an old hand now
Great shed news Dove And womble creations sounding exciting too Off to google Arabella now ......
Cloudy here but a lovely day yesterday - shame I had to work but got various jobs dome outside afterwards.
Have a great day chicky - don't let too any plants fall into your bag...and remember to wave
WWomble - only 8 pints of milk Definitely not enough to see you through the next day or two.
Dove - we used to get loads of mistle thrushes round the corner in previous garden but I've only seen a few since I've been back here. We don't get song thrushes anyway, but good to see they might be increasing in numbers with you. Beautiful birds. You can turn your new shed into a hide
Off for a quick look round before I go to work.Didn't manage to get on here last night - I was trying to catch up with Chelsea coverage. Fell asleep so didn't do that either
Have a lovely day everyone
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Sunny now but showers are forecast later on, and tomorrow, and the weekend, and the day after the weekend, and the day after--the day after the weekend
Oh well, I have other stuff to be getting on with
Chicky have a great time, BL, enjoy your guests and everyone else have a good day
Morning all, you've been chatty again this morning. Bright and sunny here for the moment and long may it last. I want to get a load more plants in today.
Sounds like you are getting a lot done Wonky, can't wait to see the photos.
Hope holiday plans go OK, glad to see your GD is 'good to go' RB.
Hope all salt miners have a good day.
What a bargain Dove
Hope the garden visit goes well BL.
Enjoy Chelsea Chicky, I'm well jell.
Some little sw**e has been digging up my newly planted pots It's weird but I keep finding whole eggs buried in them. Chicken egg size. I've found 4 now and I think the excavator is looking for them. Suspect its squirrels but the eggs are rather large for them to carry in their mouths and I've yet to see a squirrel tuck it's swag under it's arm and run with it. Haven't seen any 'evidence' of cats or foxes.
Think I'm going to have to top up on my milk FG! If a clematis falls into my basket, I'm only saving it from falling on the floor you understand! think its Loris fault, she's been plant-pushing again! Think she maybe on commission?!? hope Arabella has settled in nicely Liri!
Have a super wonderful day Chicky! You picked perfect weather! Longing to see pics!
Gonna try and the pics in a bit Yvie had you thought of asking the egg deliverer if they could bring them scrambled with chives next time and buttered toast?

As you say Hosta, the plants need your attention 24/7 - maybe they should all be moved to your place
