AWB, you are sooo right, tea and a digestive would be fab ...but no OH came back to bed for 5min, we both nodded off and now hes stomping around lime the hulk because hes late for the gym! Looks like i'll be making my own tea
Shopping coming in a couple of hours...must not go back to sleep!
So we met Reggie, and his many friends at the kennels, small lad for a German Shepherd but only 10 months so he might have a little more growing to do but not much by the size of his feet and ears. Very excitable but he hadn't been out of his kennel for 24 hours and didn't seem to have any toys to distract him so what do you expect. Full of energy and loved running free: completely uninterested in us as there was so much to sniff! I don't think he's had much training but I get the impression he'll be quick to learn when treats are offered.
In short we're picking him up next week! No one had told us but we could have taken him that day! The lovely lass was ready to load him in our car! Decided it was fairer on him for us to better prepare the house first and not subject him to my fathers birthday celebrations with all the family on his first weekend.
Add to that my darling partner buying me new wheels and tyres for my truck and a meal out with friends (via a trip to Pets@Home for much needed shampoo and food as someone was filthy and will be heading straight to the bath when he arrives) and suffice to say I'm still tired this morning.

Thanks belike , think it might be months rather than days.
i guess your snug as a bug in a rug, all you need is someone to get you a nice cup of tea and a chocolate digestive.
Good morning all
Jolly nippy out there - I just popped out in my pjs and dressing gown to check the temperature. Brrrrrrrrr!!!
Now I'm on the sofa with a big mug of black coffee
