OH is watching the cricket - seems like a lot of sport on offer this morning.
Not a lot planned today - soil too solid for gardening. Have to make a trip to the tip to dispose of old sofa (new one arrived this week, for anyone who remembers my pre-christmas saga). Then off for a meal with the in-laws this evening .....never quite managed it over Christmas. But at least its Feb, so I will be able to have a cheeky glass of something to go with it
Hope church parade went well Panda - not fair having to get all smartened up at that time in the morning if its the weekend
I've got tennis on but chopping loads of veg for a healthy soup. At least oh has gone to church as he gets so uptight when Murray's playing I fear for his health.
The sun is shining on the snow and looks lovely but it's bitterly cold out.
DD I'm glad Charlie's feeling a bit better and that you have had a 'quieter' day to recover. It's good that you didn't have your guests the other day.
Good luck with the parade Panda (rather you than me)
Enjoy your drink tonight chicky - it will probably go to your head after a month of abstinence. I know DD has managed a couple of sneaky ones but a birthday has to be celebrated

Dove I think you need to invest in a wireless remote thermometer that you can read in the kitchen

Hope the parade goes well Panda, you must be crackers.
Another month ticked off the calender. Only 4 weeks and then things will really start to pick up.
I have never been this excited at the thought of spring and getting really stuck in re the garden. I blame you lot, it's infectious.
Must be a black country thing Bekkie, my mom always had the arrowroots ready when we had an upset stomach.
