Rebecca, Verdun is in Cornwall, which is why he he is often seen wearing sunglasses and enjoying cornish ice-cream. As for the gardens - camera angles do wonders. You should see my creeping buttercups
Panda - you have a quandary now - where to plant what One of the best problems to have.
It is a problem I often have Lesley One of the joys of having a long newish garden (which I do have btw) (well new to me) is that I can create flowerbeds/borders and plant the newbies To explain, when I bought the house there were two flower beds and no borders. I have so far created two borders (one a little skinny) and enlarged the existing beds. One of the borders only goes half way up (to a bed) so loads more room that I can monopolise for plants It is just a shame that it is soooo much hard work to create a border from grass Need to borrow an under gardener!
Cup of tea and one of oldest fairylet's freshly made blueberry flapjacks consumed so I'm full. Small fairylet collected, washing put on the timer for the morning and dishes washed.
I'm off to lie down - was out after tea cutting grass edges and weeding - very satisfying chopping slugs with the lawn edgers too....
Night all
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Lily, yes I would Always get first picks, huh! I'll have to cancel my holiday to Lake Como now
You can have my under-gardener Panda. You just have to be there to tell him a plant from a weed Good luck with that. Are you allowed to place bets on this site? I bet Panda has more borders than lawn in very few years
