Sorry to hear about Pa Dove.  How is MIL doing?

Rebecca, Verdun is in Cornwall, which is why he he is often seen wearing sunglasses and enjoying cornish ice-creamimage.  As for the gardens - camera angles do wonders. You should see my creeping buttercupsimage

Panda - you have a quandary now - where to plant whatimage  One of the best problems to have.

    S'cuse me - where's George Clooney tonight?

It is a problem I often have Lesley image One of the joys of having a long newish garden (which I do have btw) (well new to me) is that  I can create flowerbeds/borders and plant the newbies image To explain, when I bought the house there were two flower beds and no borders. I have so far created two borders (one a little skinny) and enlarged the existing beds. One of the borders only goes half way up (to a bed) so loads more room that I can monopolise for plants image It is just a shame that it is soooo much hard work to create a border from grass image Need to borrow an under gardener!

Hugs to Pa Dove - gentle ones as Panda says image

Cup of tea and one of oldest fairylet's freshly made blueberry flapjacks consumed so I'm  full. Small fairylet collected, washing put on the timer for the morning and dishes washed.

I'm off to lie down - was out after tea cutting grass edges and weeding - very satisfying chopping slugs with the lawn edgers too....image

You can have my under-gardener Panda.  You just have to be there to tell him a plant from a weedimage Good luck with that.  Are you allowed to place bets on this site?  I bet Panda has more borders than lawn in very few years image
