Oh Pat! I feel for you! Hope your on the mend pronto! Rest and fluids! And beat OH round the head with the packed lunch he left behind in exchange for a runnytummy pie! big hugs, get well soon!
Have been entertaining my friends 16yr old daughter today - a pleasure and then OH went out and I had Chinese for tea Did get him some he can reheat though
Thank you all for your best wishes The 'game' tomorrow starts at 2 with an 'assessment centre' (which could be anything!) and then will be interviewed at 2.45 - 3.30! Clothes are on the airer, not quite enough drying today But am ready to rock it Hair is clean, awaiting messing with tomorrow Shoes are clean I will be a model professional
It's a lovely morning here, but very autumnal, lots of dew on the grass and sparkly spiders' webs ... I think I've got a fairly relaxed day at home planned - if only I could find my diary - think I must've left it in the car - hope I've left it in the car - if not, where is it?
Good luck Panda Think these assessment thingies are often about how you get on with others, working in teams, communication, confidence, initiative etc.
Get well soon Pat ((hugs))
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Thanks Dove. Getting there slowly. Just bored And fed up.
weather fine at the moment, but other areas have very high rainfall and even snow on some of the highlands - I think mainly in Tassie and Victoria. So much for spring starting on 1 September.
Morning all! Congratulations Wonky: are you already having lessons for your practical?
Reggie update: we were so close to his pad healing after his operation last week but puppy wouldn't settle down and it split open again so we're back to dressings at the vets every two days. It looked good last night so we're hopeful it wont be long now.
He's not had a proper walk for three weeks! I'm missing them so I hate to think how he feels.
I found out yesterday that although the ghost hunt I'm supervising doesn't end until 03:00 I'm expected to be up at 06:00 as a team are going out to an event and so vehicles will need moving. Good job I'm sleeping at the museum so I can grab a bit more sleep before we open at 11:00!
