Ah ha, back, that must have been Marmalade again - I've been cleaning bedrooms all morning.
Lunch break now - quick one - still hall stairs & landing to do - house seems ever so quiet now all the guests have gone. Charlie has gone off to the farm to play with his pal, was very excited yesterday as he got to ride on a combine harvester and climb in the hayloft.

I got a new bike a couple of weeks ago too, I had won a voucher for a local sports shop so felt obliged to use it, unfortunately it was only €30 and the bike was quite a bit more but as they say 'every little helps'. . Still not quite sure how the gears work, especially the big one but the baskets and panniers are very handy. My plan is to go the bakery every morning on it (6km there and back) but I haven't managed to get out of bed early enough yet.

I must admit I wondered about the strange message, but glad you've got a marmalade who can use the equipment. My late daughter's cat was called Marmalade and she was lovely. You must be relieved to have got the place cleaned ready for the next lot.
I've never used gears on bikes, mine was just a plain bike. Just as well I'm now too old to try. Goof luck with it Dove and DD.
Nice morning in the office. Still sunny here so out in the garden after lunch.
You'd like my bike Dove - it has hub gears so I just have to twist the handle backwards or forwards to go up and down a gear - really smooth. Couldn't get on with the derailleur gearing on my old bike - always seemed really jerky when I changed big cogs - which was usually when the gear change needed to be the smoothest - ie going up hill. Nearly threw me off once or twice That one had about 30 gears - this one has 8 - that's plenty - have never used the 3 lowest gears - even when cycling in the Dales.
Unpleasant siting in town - noticed the first lot of "Festive Menus 2015" in a couple of pubs. (was only passing you understand - not visiting ) Must mean we're about to start our summer hols ..
Also concerned I have a message for Mr ???? on my mobile voicemail asking him to ring the Dr's surgery urgently and to make an urgent appointment to discuss his test results. Can't make out the patient's name or the doctor's name and I can find at least 3 surgeries with the same surgery name - all down in Essex & London. Feeling guilty that I can't let anyone know that this chap hasn't got his message (no caller phone number) when he obviously needs to be getting in touch pronto.
Will let OH listen to it when he gets home to see if he can make out any of the names.
Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down
Just returned from the vets with Reggie: stitches are still in (hurrah) and he lasted at least five minutes before trying to chew the new dressing off (agh).
Haven't tackled the wisteria yet: truth be told I'm not entirely sure where the day has gone. I went out to harvest the blackberries (about 1 kg) and decided against doing the bedsheets as it looked like it'd rain... you can almost guarantee it'll poor it down when I step out into the garden with those bed sheets I'm sure there's someone looking down on us sometimes! (And it can't just be the cannabis farm next door).
Puppy is now fast asleep so we'll have some quiet time before I try and decide what to do next.
I choose some Dahlia Dark Leaf (Happy Single Wink) for the garden when it finally gets done. Has anyone any words of advice? I've not brought them yet: foolishly decided to be *gasp* sensible and wait until I actually had space for them.

Quick pop in to let DD know she has a PM
Sun is out here
Afternoon all. Alternating sun and cloud here, but nice and warm.
Been round the gardens at Hardwick Hall this morning, a year or so since I last went, and they were looking wonderful. Forgot camera though.
Hope WW has a good day.
