Morning all - bit of mist here - not sure it'll burn off like yesterday. Doesn't seem to be quite as cold though.
Think I'd get that checked too Hosta - if it's still very painful. I went on my b*m on a slippery large rock a while ago - and not a nice flat one either It was bruised and painful for a few weeks, but yours sounds worse than that.
Work for me - glad yours is being kind chicky. Very difficult if they're not understanding.
DD - I was thinking about you when I cleaned my P shaped bath a few days ago. I've found the perfect thing for doing it. It's one of those scoury pad things (for doing dishes) on a handle. Means you can reach the other side and do it all easily. So simple!
I know - I need to get out more..
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Glad Mr Chicky is home and on the mend Chicky, Dove informed me of progress??? big hugs x
Hosta, hope you feel less tender soon! X
Beautiful pictures Fairy! X
Pandas pink again! Yay!!!!! x
Memory fails me but an awful lot to catch up on!
Had a few friends for basement warming party, only six of us, but excellent night!
I was sensible and went to bed at 4.am but they carried on until 8am then I had people sleeping in each room all Sunday, until I offered to make a fry up and hey all stirred! And with that the weekend was over! thanks for the happy housewarming wishes everyone! Back to the grindstone! Have a great day all
Ooh Fairy, thanks for thinking about my bath - you're right though, you need to get out more. Luckily we only have the one bath (but it is enormous), all the others are showers, but I use my steamer on it, or one of it's many attachments (same theory though, long handle.
Jo, have a good day (loved your picture yesterday btw. And, yes, lots of space in the garden for letting off steam.

Haha, just realised one person still asleep on the sofa and another under a duvet on the basement floor! Hahah....guess it carried on after I went to bed!
Hope you're in a little less pain today Hosta & pleased to hear Mr Chicky is making good progress - nice that Mrs Chicky can be at home to look out for him.
Went to see The Proclaimers in concert in Ipswich last night - they were absolutely fantastic - everybody was up and rocking . OH said it was yonks since we had been to a 'gig'. I suspect the word 'gig' slightly dates him - and the fact that the average age of the audience was somewhere around the 55 mark probably stops it qualifying as one anyway
Have had Scottish ear-worms all night - "... and I would walk 500 miles and I would walk 500 more....." aaargh!
Poster up for Steve Harley & Cockney Rebel's 40th Anniversary Tour. Should probably go to that as I went to see them on the original tour
Best get skates on. Office day today - knew I shouldn't have watched the Grand Prix when we got home - but too buzzy to go to bed
SYL folks (if I can find my way home in the fog!)
Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down
It's been a misty moisty morning here in W Flanders but the sun is now cracking the flags and we're going for a walk on the beach. When OH gets up. It's her birthday so I shan't wake her unless she hasn't appeared by 11, and then with the beginnings of brunch.
Hosta - a swelling in the soft tissue usually only goes outwards where there's a bone to stop it going inwards (head, shin, hands). Yours sounds unusual - I'd get it looked at.

Morning all. Thanks for the kind words guys.
A lot less painful this morning and the "lump" is smaller .
Don't really want to go to doc's and ask them to feel a swelling on my buttock.
Dense fog here but the sun is up there and forecast to burn through later.
No hogs last night which is most odd . Had 3 every night for weeks .
