Having read the last few pages, I'm now so full of everyone's news that I can't remember individual bits. It's so nice to wake up and scroll through what you're all saying, though.   We had a storm pass through last evening which had an irritating effect - had not long opened the windows to cool the bedroom after a 39c day so that the room would be comfortable for us and then had to rush around and close windows. So the room hadn't had time to cool down By the time we went to bed. I don't think there was much rain I it, but I'm sure all the plants were grateful.

Hosta, I can't believe the time you are having - some holiday, eh!

Wonky, I have a permanent ear/tooth thing - a legacy from living in the tropics for 13 years and getting repeated middle ear infections, so I understand and sympathise.

Everyone else, sorry I can't remember, but I did read and nod and smile at your comments.

im hoping my tummy bug has eased a bit today. Will have to wait until I've had some breakfast before I can feel confident.  My visitors have delayed arriving until Friday. So I've got another full day to try to improve.

    Good morning Pat image

Hope you're feeling much better very soon ((hugs))

I've spoken to Wonky today - she sounds a lot better - at least she can articulate words rather than mumble - she's very grateful for everyone's kind wishes image

I've just skyped with my daughter . No mean feat with no voice, bless 'er. " can you say that again"

Dove  , tell Wonky I share her pain.

Morning Pat. How's the weather with you now?

Hi Hosta. It's still early (7.50am) so I haven't ventured outside, but the bedrom is still a bit warm. We're expecting another stinker today and then a cool change coming in from the west later, thank goodness. Hope you improve soon.

There has been a terrorist attack in Jakarta near the united nations building - people on motor bikes threw grenades. Some dead.  Not good news yet, still too new.image

    Morningimage

Our Garden Club lecture on lavender was fascinating - didn't even know we had a lavender farm very near usimage.  Its owner was very entertaining - and it was interesting to hear about it from a farming (as opposed to a gardening) perspective.  Will make an effort to visit one of their open days this summerimage

Medical was fine - clean bill of health for another year .......for which I am truly counting my blessings.  So easy to take these things for granted.
