Star - I've got a leg of lamb in mint sauce spare, pop over anytime for it, ours were delish!
Hope Bill's doing ok.
So excited as my mystery flower has been named and even though I'll kill it I am seriously considering ordering one from ebay, not had a proper look yet ....
Back from my meal out at the Hotel School. The theme was apples, except for the soup. Apple, chicory and Roquefort cheese salad, really tender pork with herb crust, potato cake and apple, apple sorbet, tarte Tatin. Each table had it's own apprentice waiter, ours was sweet and practiced his English on us.
Thanks for the link to Southwold, Dove. Just watched a couple of videos, one about Matt Baker looking at beach huts. My grandmother had one. Apparently they sell now for £50,000 - £120,000! One day I would like to take OH there, we could meet, but won't be this year. Complicated going away and my house sitter is moving back to England. Have to find someone for September when we go to Italy.
OH is still at choir.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
Evening all, or should I say all those that are left.
Well, it's been a lovely day here, 11c and dry apart from 1 shower of that really fine rain (the type that gets you really wet!!). Unfortunately I was working so couldn't make the most of it, but I did notice it was the birds that woke me up at 6.15 this morning and not rain in the window or wind, a promising sign I think
KEF, I can't believe no-one picked you up in this comment ha ha

What was the flower called, didn't see who posted name. I thought it was very pretty, would like one too.
