Used to have ride and drive types - cobs and Natives - and friend had a Shire x Irish Draught - a lovely chap - so gentle.  I also used to ride friend's Haflinger - she used to pull one of the carriages on Yarmouth seafront - totally bombproof image

Evening everyone, you have been busy bees today with the sunshine, chatting and sooooo many cakes. I had a most interesting day.....4 day meeting and drove home leaving sunshine behind and arriving to torrential rain and thunderstorms!!

On a plus side, my little sis had her wedding make up trial and looked even more beautiful than she normally does and she also had her second wedding dress fitting and it just looks amazing......I can't wait for a week on Saturday image

Clari, hope you got your job app sorted.

Verdun, I thought you cut back Geums last week? I'm not sure whether to do mine or not, if I post a pic can you give me some advice please?

FG, sounds like a very busy and productive day.

Sorry if I've missed anyone....so much to catch up on. Oh, I know, welcome to the newbies, great to see more people joining in with the mad bunch (don't listen to any talk of anyone on this thread being sensible.....I know of no other forum where they eat virtual cake image)

Remind me again in the next few days and I'll have a look at the East Ruston website and check  their days and times - then we can start planning - it's good to have something to look forward to image

Busy on here tonight. If i say so myself, that was a rather nice dinner. Chicken with braised lettuce, peas and pancetta. Maybe it was just the rather nice Kiwi Pinot Noir, that made it taste good.

Sadly not able to come to Barnsdale Fidget.

Me too rosemummy, have always wanted to ride along the beach. image

After first OH died my second daughter and I were having a few problems, so I took her on a riding holiday in Dingle in Ireland, we galloped on beaches. Just had to make sure you weren't behind another horse or you got a facefull of wet sand! It was great!
