Lizzie. I could go to the local hop. Not feeling quite so sore today and Mum is a little better so, for the moment, I think we can go for a week's holiday. OH thought it would be a good idea to climb Mt Etna.
Look forward to your pics of Great Dixter Scroggin
Went Chicky's way yesterday went around Loseley Garden Show in Guilford in Surrey got very wet as was very heavy rain all day show got closed early managed to get a nice cake yummy - got 1 plant a white delphinium with small flowers, so many nice plants to look at or buy got some plant supports, some gates from Katie from Lavender and Leeks on Youtube and a flying kite and pole like a hot air balloon that will blow in the wind
Today made some Gluten free Lavender shortbread biscuits not much flavour of lavender must not put in enough ready for BBQ tomorrow at Sholing Valley study centre
Naughty Panda. That green wall is amazing. Wish there were lots more of them about.
Your biscuits look really good Gg. Glad you had a good day at the show and made some nice purchases. One of the mallow seeds you sent me is already in flower and is just like the picture of it's parent. The others are coming on but much smaller. The lupins should be good for planting out next year - thank you
Just trying to catch up with all your day's doings
Jo - technically they're really both crocosmia, but the common orange one is known as montbretia while the posh proper varieties get called crocosmia
Had a beautiful day's walking - Glen Fyne (Beinn Bhuidhe) Lesley. Don't think it would have done your foot much good Not a spit of rain. I arranged that specially and sent it all down south instead
This was my view while having lunch
and a little 'snack' stop at the summit. Loch Fyne in the distance
'Fyne' is most definitely what it was
Feet up now. Should have something to eat but can't be bothered. Any of that shortie left Ggirl?
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Hey all. just wanted to share a whoop whoop - the two mature trees I planted last year are showing signs of new growth. They were so expensive and hard work to plant i was worried about losing them. So I'm whooping!
