Pat E , the performance was in the Nave which is enoumous anyway and you are right the acoustics is great
What was really different , the actors walked around in costume , difficult to describe , but added to the atmosphere and of course in the past Cathederals where very busy places
I was really impressed .
I known the Cathedral well has I have done some voluntary work there in the past
Listen here all you sleepy heads - it's now 8.50am and time to be moving.
I can't get over how widespread your rain must have been yesterday - nearly all of you commented on it. The rain/snow that was predicted here for Friday, Saturday and Sunday, hasn't eventuated here yet, but my daughter rang yesterday to say they had torrential rain between Canberra and Goulburn when she was driving there. No snow though and I'm not sorry about that. Sick of the cold.
Good morning all I am notgoing out there in my pjs to see what the temperature is or to find out whether the hedgehogs have eaten their supper. At least I'm not going to have to water the beans today!
Hope the night owls got some sleep eventually and that PatE is warming up!
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Yes not bad today. The trouble is that I've got so used to sitting around inside that I'm finding it hard to get going again. No rain, temp not minus, sunny day - what more can I ask for.
Made a large pot of pea and ham soup - enough for tonight and the freezer. Also cooked up poodle's favourite food - chicken, chicken livers and giblets, arborio rice and lots of vegetables. (She's only got half her teeth now so can't chew anything). She spent the afternoon on the lounge snoring.

Is there a smiley face for shivering?
I'm sure there's a very good reason I'm wide awake at 2am, but right now, I can't think of one.
You were waiting for an enlightening message from me, hostafan.

Good morning Pat E and Verdun
I've got smilies - I'll share some with you with you

I've just been outside (in the rain) to have a quick check on things - the pond is 4" higher than it was a couple of days ago!
The temp went down overnight to 11.6C and is still there
